Who we are and how to contact us
The Bayesian Stock Forecast Terminal is operated at bayesiannetwork.org. It is a research and educational tool for stock-market probability analysis — it does not provide investment advice.
If you have a question about these terms, email us at info@bayesiannetwork.org and we will respond promptly.
What the terminal is
The terminal runs a statistical model and presents probabilities. Those probabilities are model output, not investment advice, and past behaviour of a stock does not guarantee future results. You alone are responsible for any trading decisions you make based on the output, and we do not guarantee that the service will be profitable, or fit for any particular purpose.
Creating an account
You sign in with a Google account. You may hold one account per person, and the information attached to your Google account must be accurate. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure, and for all activity that happens through your account.
Free trial
Every new account gets one 5-day trial of full access: 20 analyses a day, all paid features, no card required. After the trial ends you stay on the free tier unless you subscribe.
The trial is limited to one per person and one per device. To enforce this we store a random device identifier in your browser, a cookie, and a coarse browser fingerprint (browser type, screen size, language and timezone). If a second trial is requested on the same device, we refuse it and record why. This information is used only for trial enforcement — see the Privacy Policy. We may grant, extend or refuse a trial at our discretion, for example where a trial was refused in error.
Plans and billing
- Free — 3 analyses a month, 1 watchlist ticker, last 3 runs kept in history.
- Standard ($9.99/month) — 50 analyses a day, up to 50 watchlist tickers, 30 days of saved analyses.
- Pro ($15.99/month) — 100 analyses a day, up to 100 watchlist tickers, 90 days of saved analyses.
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices may change, but we will notify you before your next renewal and any change only takes effect from that renewal. Daily quotas reset at 00:00 UTC and monthly quotas reset on the 1st of the month, as stated on the pricing page.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel any time from your account page, or through the billing portal. When you cancel, you keep full access until the end of the paid month, and you are not charged again after that.
Refunds
The service is delivered immediately and consumed as you use it — each analysis runs real compute and data requests. Because of that, refunds are limited to one narrow window:
- A full refund is available if you request it within 48 hours of the charge and you have run fewer than 5 analyses since that charge.
- Outside that window we do not offer refunds. Cancelling always stops future charges, and you keep access until the end of the paid month.
This window exists to stop one obvious abuse — running the terminal hard across many tickers and then asking for the money back — and to stay fair to the small minority who realise immediately that the tool is not for them.
Cooling-off rights (UK and EU consumers)
UK and EU consumer law normally gives you a 14-day cooling-off period after a purchase. When you subscribe, you expressly consent to the service starting immediately after payment, and you acknowledge that by doing so you lose that 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 — except as provided in the refunds section above.
Acceptable use
- Do not scrape the service or access it with automated bulk requests.
- Do not share your account or resell access or exported output.
- Do not attempt to circumvent quotas, the one-trial rule, access controls or usage limits.
- Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Our rights
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, abuse the service, fail to pay, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. We may also set and change quotas, plans and features as the service evolves, and refuse access where misuse is suspected.
Where we suspend or end paid access for a reason other than your breach or misuse, we will refund the unused portion of the current month.
When an account ends
When an account ends — because you asked us to delete it or because we terminated it — your saved analyses, watchlist and device records are deleted in line with the retention periods described in the Privacy Policy. Payment records are kept as long as accounting and tax rules require.
Intellectual property
The engine, the reports it produces and the content of this site belong to the operator. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the service and its output for your own research.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided without any warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Market data comes from public providers and may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the current billing month. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes to the service or these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We post the updated version on this page with a new revision date, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms. If a change affects the price you pay, we will notify you before your next renewal.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
